Neem Oil - Natural Herbal Elixir
Neem Oil is a natural derivative of the neem tree (Azadirachta indica), an evergreen native to India. It acts as a herbal elixir that heals many ailments through topical application and helps treat worm, insect, and mosquito bites.
Properties of Neem Oil:
- Colour: Brownish Yellow
- Odour: Characteristic Neem Odour
- pH Value: 5.5 to 7.5
- Nature at Room Temperature: Liquid
- Toxicity: Practically non-toxic to rats, rabbits, guinea pigs; harmless to birds, beneficial organisms, aquatic life, and bees.
- Available from 500 ppm to 2500 ppm Azadirachtin content.
- Free from Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1, G2.
Uses in Agriculture:
Neem oil is best known as a safe and effective insecticide. It is organic and biodegradable, killing over 600 species of insects, fungi, nematodes, and viruses. It can be used as a dormant-season spray or foliar spray to repel and kill pests.
